Our Story
Our office has been located in Coconut Creek since 2017. We participate with dental PPO insurance plans such as Metlife, Delta Dental, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna, Humana, Guardian and much, much more. If you don't have dental insurance, our practice offers an "in house" discount plan. We are a paper-free office and work with digital records, meaning our dental x-rays use 90% less radiation than conventional, as well as "green" charting - meaning your records can be located with the "touch of a finger" and can never be misplaced or lost.
All patient information is protected by our secure "cloud" server. We are not a corporate dental chain, and we do not rotate dentists in-and-out every few months, nor practice coupon bait-and-switch dentistry. Only one dentist will oversee your treatment from beginning until completion. You can expect to see the same friendly faces every time you visit! Our office offers a 24/7 emergency phone line where our office staff is available to schedule appointments and answer any questions you may have.

Meet The Team
Dr. Paul Krykhtin
Dr. Krykhtin received a degree in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester in New York! He is a doctor of Dental Surgery and attended Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. At St. Peter's Hospital in Albany NY, Dr. Krykhtin was trained one-on-one by specialists in areas of oral surgery, root canals, implants, dentures, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and more. He then became a professor at St. Peter's Residency, and taught dentists/residents for 3 years at St. Peter's Hospital. He also has his clear/invisible braces certification- and is now offering "Fast Braces"!
Dr. Krykhtin's rigorous training in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering, his love of Arts, and passion for Dentistry brings a unique skill fusion to Boca Raton Dentistry. Dr. Krykhtin has previously designed and built biomedical devices. One such device, a robotic arm, accommodated an 8-year-old child with quadriplegia to open a door or turn on a computer using a "sip and puff" mechanism.
He is a member of various professional organizations including: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Implant Association. In his free time, Dr. Krykhtin loves spending time with his two kids, fishing, and getting involved in adventurous activities.
Dr. Helena Hogan
Dr. Hogan knows the cornerstone to any successful dentist/patient relationship is trust. By creating a low-key, relaxed environment where the people she treats are free to speak their minds and voice their concerns, she is able to gain their confidence and earn their respect.
After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in molecular genetics and biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University, Dr. Hogan graduated from Nova Southeastern University with masters in biomedical science. Four years and countless hours of intensive study later, she received her doctor of dental medicine from NSU's College of Dental Medicine.
A committed, conscientious professional whose areas of expertise range from cosmetic dentistry to Prosthodontics. Dr. Hogan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists. She likes to unwind after a day at the office by playing the piano or going for a long run.

Hello! My name is Claudia Hoyos.
I am originally from Cali, Colombia, and I moved to the United States at a young age. I have been working in the dental industry for over six years, starting as a dental assistant and later becoming a certified registered dental hygienist.
My passion is educating patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth and how it positively impacts overall health. I believe that education is key to helping patients improve their oral health. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and taking long walks with
my two dogs.

I am a qualified dental assistant, having obtained my degree from the esteemed Future Dental Assistant of America. Prior to that, I worked as a dental technician in my home country, Ukraine , and I am grateful to have been able to continue my career in this field here at Hidden Gem Dental . I must say that I find dentistry to be a highly rewarding profession, and being a dental assistant is something that fills me with pride.
